About me
Nigel is International and Business Outreach Director at CSE Connect. He co-chairs the International Cybersecurity Education Collaborative (ICEC), an initiative of NCyTE and CSE Connect. His security career has been wide ranging, including supporting boards in data, information and cyber as strategic risk. He has worked in several conflict areas on counter propaganda, disinformation and behavior change. He is Visiting Research Fellow at King’s College London, where he contributes to military education. A former army officer, he has worked extensively in industry, including as managing consultant at QinetiQ, Trusted Information Management. He has run a number of national bodies as CEO the Information Assurance Advisory Council and Director Cyber Security Knowledge Transfer Network. Whilst at the UK Defense Academy he designed the UK’s Defense cyber postgraduate program. He writes in the areas of Information operations and cyber and is currently co-editor of the forthcoming Bloomsbury Handbook of Information Warfare.
