About me
Computer Science/Computer Information Technology Educator with over 30 years of teaching and training in IT, Cyber defense, information assurance, and digital forensics. He taught as a tenured professor until 1999 at Valdosta State University in the Math and Computer Science Department. He is now Professor of Computer Science at Roane State Community College. Dr. Meghabghab has a passion for teaching and training students to strengthen the IT and cybersecurity disciplines by developing dynamic programs that produce professionals prepared to contribute to a global workforce. His education includes: PhD, Computer and Information Sciences, Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL, June 1988 Dr. Meghabghab has published more than 15 refereed journal articles and presented more than 30 conference papers. Dr. Meghabghab recently provided cybersecurity presentations in CMMC to 18 cadets of the National Defense University at the University of Tennessee Research Triangle in Knoxville, TN in 2023 entitled: “Kill Chain for CMMC” and won a medal of Honor.
