About me

Dr. Lehrfeld has worked in the IT and Cybersecurity field for over 30 years. His current role is the creation and expansion of cybersecurity tools with the First Responder community. Current projects include establishing a Real Time Crime Center at East Tennessee State University that will directly support regional law enforcement efforts. Dr. Lehrfeld oversees the ATF NIBIN forensics lab that assists East Tennessee gun crimes. He is also responsible for the regional ATAK situation awareness platform for over 30 agencies with integrations into the TN National Guard.
