About me
Kyle Jones is the Assistant Dean of Technology, Grants, and External Partnerships and an AI Faculty Fellow Professor at Sinclair Community College. He leads initiatives at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and workforce development, with a focus on translating emerging technologies into practical, ethical, and accessible educational programs.
Kyle serves as a Co-Principal Investigator on multiple National Science Foundation–funded projects, including national cybersecurity and AI workforce initiatives, and works closely with industry, government, and international partners to align education with real-world needs. He holds a master’s degree in security and remains active as a faculty member, teaching and designing curriculum in networking, cloud, cybersecurity, and AI. Kyle is currently pursuing a doctorate in Global Security, with research interests in AI governance, the legitimacy of international standards, and the role of global institutions in shaping technology policy.
